Welp that turned fast, I said last week I was skeptical about them.

They're much improved, for sure. But it was light and day from 1st to 2nd half.

1st half, completely dominant on both sides of the ball. Arguably could've had another TD or two.

2nd half, couldn't do a thing on offense and defense couldn't stop them at all.

They definitely will be in the 3rd/4th conversation, not even a question.

I don’t see it maybe 4th or 5th they could beat east and maybe Sherman but I can’t they will be Tyler who I think will nab the third spot. Maybe slip to two if LV plays Allen at QB 😉 lol

2-7 I think anyone can beat anyone tbh. Tyler still has Holmes as head coach so...any given day.

Same thing I said.

Same thing the fans said as well. We didnt even know it was going on until we seen the lights at the stadium. To yall point 2-7 is wide open. I dont worry much about the district and offense but from the games I have watched on youtube and stat sheets, defense is where teams are lacking. from a biased opinion and seeing them last year to this year watching East defense is night and day. havent yet given up 30 pts in a game (think its like a 23ppg avg) and the way they run the ball(250 a game) they will be able to keep it close and surprise folks. I dont have on my fan glasses and ready to say they top 3 in the league but they are closer to the top then they are the bottom. if Washington the QB isnt all district Id be shocked.

Nah, Longview is better.  :woot:

yep...lol.

I always try to look at enrollments when schools are playing out of state opponents, because the way each state does their classes are different. Bryant is a big school, probably would be 6a in Texas.  Very good win.

The class of '24 for Longview is absolutely LOADED. They're getting valuable playing time now and they're performing at a high level. They're going to be scary going forward.

Yep.

Defense is performing this dominant....despite almost exclusively being underclassmen.

I haven't seen a better class come through Longview than that '24 group.

Think about this, the JV is dominating everybody despite 12 sophomores either starting or contributing on varsity. That class is deep.
