Biden says under $15/hr is "poverty wage"...a lie?

$15/hr, at 40 hours per week is $30,000 per year, assuming 2 weeks vacation.

And according to this site: https://aspe.hhs.gov/2017-poverty-guidelines

The poverty level for 1 person is $12,060, as of 2017. Let's assume 40 hours per week (2080 hours per year), that gives us an hourly wage of...$5.79 per hour.

A person making $30,000 per year would be near the poverty level if they were supporting themselves and four others.

Of course, these are average numbers, and they may have changed over the past few years.

So, Lie or not?

Biden and the word lie are interchangeable...or you can just say Blieden.
