cowboyandchrist
What a crock not having but two defensive players from the best 4A defense since the 83 Daingerfield tigers on the all state team, not even honorable mention.

You tell me one player on that list on the D line better K Lister. The boy was double team on every play and he still made plays. The secondary had 30 interceptions. The starters Allowed 4.5 points a game. I don’t call that crying. I call that stating facts.
BevBrownJr
It’s hard for me to believe there were 5 Tight Ends in 4A last year who were better than Montrell “Big Cat” Smith. 1

All state teams are mainly based on stats........Carthage had a 14 - 0 record but was only on the field for 13 games. The last 2 district games were over before halftime. Big Cat missed part of one game because of injury and had a cast on for awhile. Also, Carthage had a RB and several receivers who were really good at catching passes. All of the above led to Big Cat not having stats as good as could have been.
house
An impossible list to put together. So many things can sway the numbers. Kudos to whoever put the time and effort into it. Still fun to look at. Once worked around a guy that was always just grumpy. Never did care to be around him. Found out one day he had heart bypass surgery. When he came back to work he was the nicest guy you ever wanted to meet.
