Pittsburg vs MP/ Dfield should be back on the horizon asap?

Pitt should fill a slot on schedule this year with Mp or Dfield,if it is a possibility. The time has bn right way past ten years and shouldn't go any longer. Overkill by the ones that really didn't and dont kmow the ins and outs of both communities and schools destroyed these rivalries with somewhat understandable intentions. But the time is now for the resurrection of rivalries.

So a 4A D2 school should play a 3a-D2 and a 5A school? Makes perfect sense for all involved

If ur not in the know about these three schools and their communities, then you couldn't/wouldn't ever understand the logic that concerns any of it, trust me. I dont know what area that you are from, but Pitt/Dfield/Mp area separates by 11-15 miles either way and yes, these games have more of a significant meaning than one may think. Bring the rivalries back!

Made sense for two decades with Mp always bn up a classification and makes sense now.The competition level is at even par and the coaches from either team couldn't get a better effort out of their players in any game outside of state playoffs maybe, then they would in these rivalries. These teams would become better by it. This is high school and not college ball, where strength of schedule and records matter. Play the game!

Exactly and thats why some lose their jobs because they are to cowardly and not competitive. I know both rivals and would bet a steak to a honey bun that  majority of the people involved in this rivalry would be in agreement, easily.

And some random dudes in the community need to figure out playing 7th grade football in 1978 doesn't make them football experts...

If ur not from Pitt/Dfield/Mp areas, then you shouldn't be involved in this particular conversation bud. If u are from the area, then it's obvious that you carried the water during these " tough man battles" between these three school districts.

Well for those arguing classification, Pittsburg has had Pine Tree on their schedule since 2016, which Pitt has won every year, and the only reason they were not this last season was the schedule difference because of Covid. What makes sense in scheduling any team is 1. will the team give you good competition, 2. help you prepare for future games from an offensive and defensive perspective, and  3. give you an opportunity to see your players and how they respond to positive and negative things during said game. IMO

Agreed! And all three of the points that u have just mentioned would be easily carried out,no doubt about it. Excellent dialysis.
