Former Longview Lobo Chris Davis made his first professional home run a memorable one! Last night he hit a two-run dinger in the bottom of the 12th inning to lift the Spokane Indians to an 11-9, walk-off victory over the Yakima Bears.

You can read the came recap and see a nice shot of Davis being met at home plate at....

After going deep once last night, Chris Davis hit three more dingers tonight to bring his season total to seven in just 27 games. The big performance single-handedly lifted the Indians to a 6-5 victory as Davis had five RBI's. He has 16 RBI's on the season.

It's nice to see ET being represented well!

A couple of years ago, I remember a kid that went from the college WS to A ball to AA ball all in one year. I think it's pretty rare, but it can definitely happen. I'm sure Davis will have to get his average up before he will be promoted. He's hitting .202 right now, but it's been steadily rising over the last couple of weeks. I'm not sure, but seven HR has got to lead his league.
