Espn should've did their homework, but that fake school along with it's administration and parents are ultimately the ones who are pathetic in this situation.

ESPN never does the homework. They’re more focused on how to please the woke crowd

So are they like a semi-pro team? Or a home school team?

I don't think they know what they are. But folks in Ohio are beyond mad about them doing this. They're scheduled to play Duncanville, it would behoove Duncanville to find another opponent ASAP.

Doesn't sound like they're even apart of Ohio's version of the UIL.

Reading more and more about it, the more crazy it becomes.

Insane that ESPN did not do more research.

lmao ! being that the final score was 58-0 I for sure would bet they are NOT semi-pro team.

what is interesting about all this is that it is not the first/ only time IMG has played Sycamore Bishop. they beat them 56-6 last year. So how does this game take place a second time?

Img played this team last season also.

Sycamore was 0=6 last season and scored a total of 42 pts.

img being the football power they are knew beforehand it would be one of the least competitive games that they have ever played.  television exposure for the players (also if they are compensated by espn) is the only reason(s) to play.

so how did the governing body of Ohio highschool football not already be aware of sycamore bishop? 🤔

Oh they're probably aware, but can't do anything about them. I reckon it's just like UIL trying to tell Beaumont Kelly what to do while Kelly is not under the umbrella of UIL. IMG will play anyone to fill its schedule, what's crazy is Bishop Sycamore signed up for it again.

Although I think its unhealthy for kids to play 2 games in 3 days, its not at uncommon as you think. In Louisiana, kids are allowed to do this. At alot of schools kids will play on Freshman and JV squads or on JV and Varsity squads in the same week. I seen kids play JV on Monday or Tuesday and play with Varsity on Thursday.  heck, I think I have seen kids play Fresh and JV on the same night.

So Celina plays “Dallas Nike Football,” in a few weeks, whoever that team is. When you look at their website, it also gives off the distinct scam-blog vibe. Wonder how legit they are.

yes I agree. their website says located in Plano but looking at max preps it says it's in Allen.

Look no further than their coaching staff to see why they signed up again! I read where Sycamores head coach has like 10 warrants out for his arrest in Delaware and evidently duped people out of some $500,000; he’s obviously an up to no good con man

Still probably more legit than Deion’s Prime Prep was.

Ohio is like Louisiana where private and public schools play together. The better teams in Ohio are usually private Catholic schools that have “Bishop” in their name. ESPN apparently could get past the first name of the school. Someone in programming is now gainfully employed in the food service industry.
