cheaptrick77
Set you VCRs and/or TiVos for 3am Sunday morning on your local NBC affiliate for the first episode of Saturday Night Live: October 11, 1975 (the same night as Game 1 of the 1975 World Series). Host: George Carlin Musical guests: Billy Preston, Janis Ian. Andy Kaufman also appears, performing his famous lip-sync to the Mighty Mouse theme song. Those of you who think SNL means Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell need to watch this to see the TRUE MASTERS at work. It's tough to beat the original Not Ready For Prime Time Players (+ Bill Murray) & the first five seasons of SNL.

Tina Fey = Yeah -- I'll check out Weekend Update & the musical guest -- if they are a legitimate act (VERY rarely), but that's all.
