Ramirez for Tejada...trade has been offered

According to several sources today, a straight-up trade would send Boston's Manny Ramirez to Baltimore for shortstop Miguel Tejada. It is officially on the table and both teams are considering the offer seriously.

 

Both players have called the front office wanting to be traded. Who would benefit the most from this deal?

It won't happen. The MLBPA won't allow a trade w/ such a huge amount of cash changing hands - ala the ARod to Boston fiasco a few years back.

I don't think so...both of these players want out and make a similar amount of money. They did approve the ARod to NY trade for Soriano so I don't think they'll get too much grief from the PA.

Now the Orioles appear to be pulling out, trying to appease Tejada through other means.

as long as my teams gets something going this next year like they had at the beginning of this past season, ill be ok:thumbsup: ..although i dont see too much happening with people being unhappy, losing bj ryan, etc etc.. i guess we'll see, but sammy sosa better get it together next year for sure..
