bigdawg16
This guy has always been a class act. I just read an article on his attempt to come back and one quote from him sums him up...maybe T.O could read it and take something from it: "I want to honor what I signed," he added with a smile. "And then I'll go away. I promise."
clawsnstripes
he's always been one of my favorite stros. from the day that we "stole" him from those brainiack red sox to now, he's given his all. those wrist injuries slowed him, and now father time is knocking. classy guy. BigRocky99
You can't knock him for wanting to come back and I sure hope he does. He definitely is a classy guy.
boydawg1
I'm a Cubs/Whitesox fan and when Jeff Bagwell was healthy, he scared me more than any other player in the league.
WillieMakit
If Bagwell had not played eight years in the Astrodome he would be closing in on 600 Home Runs instead of a fading shot at
EB75
Bagwell and Biggio both have been lifetime Astros and have always lived up to what they promised. They sign a contract, fulfill it, and then sign a new deal. How many players can you think in today's game, that will be with the same team for 15+ years. Only Jeter comes to mind. These guys understand what honoring a contract means. Kodos to them and the few that may come along. As a longtime Astros fan, it is an honor to know that the face of my team for the last 15 years was not going to leave.

The original Dome was where homers went to die.
