to me that is not a miracle, but someone doing a good deed. A miracle IMO would have been if you was drug off the road by an unseen force.

i believe in miracles. one of my mom friends had this horrible case of cancer that had spread to most major organs in his body and the doctors thought he was not going to live much longer. well he had to go to a lot of specialists because of the severity of his cancer. he went on his visit and it had been a few weeks since his last visit at another doctor. when they took scans of his organs and insides, they called the other hospitals asking "what are we supposed to be looking for? there's nothing here." and they were right, the cancer wasn't there, it was just gone. now isn't that freaky? after being told by several doctors that you've got this massive case of cancer and all of a sudden it's gone? without treament? pretty cool

Miracles exist every day. They can be dismissed by skeptics and non believers as luck, timing, karma, fate--but just as easy as they are dismissed, they can be accepted. It's all in what you CHOOSE to believe.

That's exactly right!!! All I have to do is look at any one of my 3 children to see a miracle..

A Miracle would be reattaching a severed head. I dont think that has ever happened. :whome:

No the miracle is him being there...the guy dissapeared. Never saw him or talked to him again. He was wearing a suit and tie. Everyone still today calls him my gardian angel. Sorry i left this part out but he might have been a very seen force but i will always be greatful

There are miracles that happen. A few years back my family was snow skiing and I got a call that my son had been in an accident. When i got down and went and checked on him, the doctors had already called for the abulance to come up from Denver. When the dr. brought out the xrays they showed that he had clearly broken two vertebrates in his lower back. He was experiencing numbness in his legs. We were there with a youth group from the church. That afternoon we got them together and they prayed for my son. The next morning when they did the MRI on my son it showed that nothing was broke. The Drs. did not know what to say. My son walked out of the hospital that next afternoon with no pain.

So yes I believe in Miracles.

Nah--that would be a Medical First--A surgical breakthrough--a phenomenon--but it certainly wouldn't qualify as a miracle.

A miracle doesn't normally involve human hands or intervention--a miracle is something only God can do.

Try getting away from an angry father while doing speeds over 90 on a country road and live to tell about it.

I will never do something stupid as I did on 12/28/05. I will ask the parents not the kids if I can come over.

Miracle that everybody involved wasn't injured.

Yes. I believe in miracles. A friend (who posts on this board when able to) has a mother who, about a year ago, was told that she might have no more than six months to live because her heart was basically dying and only a small percentage of it was working. They told her there was no hope. Well, something unexplainable began to happen. The doctors have said that her heart is "coming back to life" and with each visit, a larger percentage is functioning. The doctors are baffled. But, yes, I certainly believe in miracles.

Everyone believes in miracles whether you want to admit it or not. If you say there is no God and we're all alone, you believe in the biggest miracle of all, that this world somehow was formed out of chaos and against all odds, came about in such a well-designed manner without the help of a higher intelligence. Now THAT takes much more faith than simply believing in a designer. I for one believe in a creator and miracles. The alternative takes entirely too much faith.

That was a great movie they made about this and it was very historically correct. I saw the old recording of this game on ESPN classic a while back. It is amazing. Fun to watch and i am not to fond of hockey at all.

The movie was called Miracle. Basically everything that was in the movie is true about the real team. All actors (the hockey players on the US team) were from Boston and Minnesota which all the players in real life were. The two colleges hated each other back then and still do today. Hockey they fought like crazy, and like I said they still do.

Some of the "actors" in the movie were actually sons of the real players that played. The Soviet Union team was nearly unstoppable.

They destoryed everyone they played, which clearly showed that through the movie. Whether it was Team Canada, Team Sweden, Team Finland, or even the NHL All Stars. Nobody could beat them and Team USA finally did it, after losing to them a few weeks before they beat them in the Olympics.

Too bad that kind of stuff never happens anymore

Lot's of testimonies about miracles on this thread...I love to hear about God activity in peoples lives. If you got up this morning and took a breath then you've witnessed a miracle.

Someone said if a human had anything to do with it, it is not a miracle (paraphased)...God uses people all the time to do His work. I see it everyday.
