LadyCat2008
i believe in miracles for 2 reasons: 1-when i was born, my umbelical cord was wrapped around my neck. if i had been born much later, i could have died or been handicapped. 2- when i was 4-5, my grandmother, my sister, and i were attacked by a blue heeler. i was bitten on my neck about 3 inches from my jugular vein. neither are really big miracles, but i'm still glad that they happened. fballfan72
Before my youngest daughter was born, all tests showed she would be born with a severely deformed spine and possible birth defects. We were told to prepare for a special needs child and even were recomended counseling and support groups to prepare for her condition at birth. My Christian friends and family all began praying for a miracle but at the same time a peace to know and understand God's will . My baby girl was born without any sign of what all tests had shown, and had doctors and specialists scratching their heads and chalking it up to that one in a million mistake that modern technology makes. We, as believers, know the truth....today she is about the most normal, active 11 yr old sports nut you could ever meet.. YES I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES....but not just in the almost unbelievably huge ones, but also in the small ones....waking up everyday, the bloom on a flower, and every other one we witness everyday of our lives
parentofredheads
I definitely believe in miracles. Just this last week, me and my youngest son were headed to town to pick up some pizza. It was dark. Passed an oncoming truck with a trailer, and then another truck. A piece of pipe somehow came flying off the last truck and hit the passenger windshield, busted it with cracks going everywhere, and then skidded off the top, taking out three of my cab lights. If that piece of pipe had come straight on, it would've gone through the windshield and killed my son. Same week, my oldest son, who has been taught the ultimate in gun safety since he was little bitty, was at a friend's house. Friend got a new gun for Christmas. Our sons have always been taught you should never have a loaded gun in the house - my son thinking he was at home, for some stupid reason, pulled the trigger and it shot through the window. The miracle about this, is that there were four other people in the living room, and if the barrel had been turned a different way, he might've killed someone or himself. As parents, in three days time, we could've lost both our sons. Somebody up top is definitely looking over us! And ohhh, don't worry, oldest son is grounded for two months and hubby took all his guns away from him.
JacobsDad412
fballfan72 - That is an incredible story about your little girl. Isn't it amazing that our modern technology can be wrong or even greater that God can change the circumstances. I wonder how many little babies have been aborted because modern technology told the parents that there was going to be a problem and the parents just didn't want to deal with it. God works miracles everyday, sometimes we just have to give Him a chance to.
