In defense of Biggio, most pf the balls that he has gotten hit by in the last few years have been legitimately in and off of the plate. He does not get within 2-3 inches from the plate like Bonds.

I could see Biggio as a clubhouse guy. Doing all of the little things that bullpen and bench coaches do. As for Baggy, well I'm not sure. He might be an upstairs guy. Don't get me wrong, both are great players and role models. Their demeanors are just a little different.

I can see Biggio ending up a manager, but don't see Bagwell staying in baseball after he retires.

My fantasy matchup would be to see Bonds hit against Don Drysdale or Bob Gibson.

 

You can't say enough good things about Biggio or Bagwell. Not only are they both great players, but more importantly, they are both class acts.
