BearX7
I wonder how many of these are AD/HC and how many just HC's of football? Where did you find this at?
BearX7
I found it on stateman.com Interesting...they list every 5a and 4a salary. No 3a's or below for some reason. East Texas Coaches: Outlaw Lufkin 103,500 Brooks JT 85,490 Owens REL 85,490 King Longview 85,000 Vallery Kilgore 85,000 Southern Marshall 82,188 Norton T High 81,566 Copeland Jville 78,000 McFarlin Whitehouse 75,301 Harper Nac 74,329 Russell PT 71,610 There were a couple of others, but they have new coaches, so I did not post them. This was based on 2005. - Sulphur Springs, Mount Pleasant, Henderson
Mavchamp
I had no idea Marshall's pay was so close to Longview, Lee and JT. Good for us. Nice to see we are competitive. Wow.....Lufkin is really paying outlaw.
frogman
Actually what SLC pays Dodge is not the highest..His is around the $95-$96 range......but his private QB camps bring in another good sum.......
sweatysoxxx
Its good to see that Steve Gaddis got his resume polished by coaching at SH.:w00t:
Homerun
I find it interesting that the two highest pay coaches are both 4A coaches. Also only 5 of them are from around the Houston Area I would have thought Katy or the Woodlands would have been in there.
StillWatchin
That kind of stuff makes me want to be a coach...dealing with stuff along with it...doesnt. :D Also...probably wouldnt land a job at a place like this.
Coach0001
People go wow but this is not even 1% of coaches in the state There are lots of assistants out there working their buns off for 45,000 or less
MNMLady
Seems to me that coaches who beat Marshall in the state championship are worth the most. Ironic, huh.
Acuba
Dickey Meeks in Henderson is making a minimum of $85,000.
