LoboFan07
Unbelieveable. Totally different team since that loss @ North Texas. FINAL The SMU Mustangs: 55 The Arkansas State Indians: 9 (Same team that beat UNT last year and won the Sun Belt) QB Justin Willis has 10 touchdowns through the air, the most by an SMU QB in a season since 1999. Most points in consectutive games for SMU (100 points) since 1928. Last week, SMU defeated Sam Houston State 45-14. First time since 1999 that SMU has scored 50 points. First time since 1982 that SMU has scored atleast 40 points in consectutive games. First time in school history to have a player (Zack Sledge) pass for a touchdown then recover a fumble in the endzone for a touchdown. 55 points, the most ever in Ford Stadium (opened in 2000). 51 yard field goal, the longest ever field goal in Ford Stadium. It's also the longest home winning streak SMU has had (4 straight games) since SMU's 4 game winning streak at the Cotton Bowl (3 games) and at Ford Stadium (1 game) back in 99-00. And now..Conference USA starts for SMU...with the Mustangs sitting at 2-2 for the first time since 1992!

Yeah UTEP proved it this weekend. SMU whoops up on 2 lower division teams to go 2-2 so far. Bet they lose out the rest of the season and finally dump bennett. RANBEE32
Hey, SMU fans, you are getting a good athlete in Terrance Ganaway of De Kalb. He is a well mannered solid kid, will be an asset to your program.

jimmiemac
That was a pitifull game and SMU fans should be embarassed that was on National TV. Bad refs, bad teams and lousy attendance sure doesn't impress many. Neither team could move the ball or even hold on to it for more than a few minutes and it wasn't because either team played good D.
