Flyboy
I wish Pittsburg and other schools would concentrate more on academics than on athletics. I would venture to say that maybe 10% of all the high school graduates across the state of Texas go on to receive an athletic scholarship. ALL SPORTS ARE FUN….but isn’t it our responsibility to prepare these kids for the real world?
Guest CNOrtega
Hence the "don't pass, don't play" rule. And no, it's not our responsibility to get the kids ready for the real world. That is the job of the parents and the teachers.
ballboy21
Sports does get kids ready for the real world. they learn discipline, competition, morals, values, how to win and lose, work, team concepts. All those things get kids ready for the real world. Teachers and Parents do their part as well. What a crazy post.
ballboy21
Plus soccer will get some of the Hispanics in Pitt more serious about school. No pass, No play!!!
