wildcat77
Jon Holt from Sulphur Springs has done a tremendous job this year. He has been a bright spot on a tough season. He punts and kicks. He is pretty good at lobbing the ball where he wants it. He won the MP game with a 21 yard field goal in a very pressure packed situation!!!! highschoolfootballnut
Michael Boen of Jefferson is now 41 out of 45 PAT's, and 4 0f 5 FG's, his longest is 43 yards. Oklahoma is interested! We didn't make 41 PAT's from 2000 to present........Wow
CHSfootball07
Iain Allred of Carthage is a pretty good kicker hes only missed once this whole year

68Hornet
Great trivia question for Liberty-Eylau fans. You could look back on this season in a few years and someone will ask who had the 69-yard punt for the Leopards against Wimberley? The obvious will be Will MIddlebrooks, but it was Josh Hendershot playing in his place after he was hurt.

Texashurdler
For kicker i dont have a favorite...but Garret Rhodes of EUstace on punting. He averages over 60 yds per punt...perfect spirals down the field and coffin corner kicks very well.
NETexasFan
Leopard, Was that punt by Hendershot all in the air or was it a roller that to a REALLY good LE bounce? Middlebrook's punts are all in the air. Just asking because I hope LE has another good punter lined up for next year.
68Hornet
Hendershot is a senior, too. That 69-yarder rolled a little, but he also had a strong wind at his back. We were teasing before that game started that Middlebrooks might get off an 80-yarder that night, but he never got to kick with the wind. He had a 35-yarder straight into the wind before he got hurt. NETexasFan
I was thinking Hendershot was a junior.
watznext
Hendershott (spelled with 2 t's) is a junior this year and he works very hard at walking well behind a very tall shadow. Trying to punt or kick behind Middlebrooks is not an enviable task for anyone.

68Hornet
The guy that supposedly averages 60 yards. That would be a world record. I've checked the high school record book and nobody has ever come close to averaging 60 yards. My apology to Josh Hendershott, I was looking at a roster that said he was a senior and spelled his name with only one T.
RAM86
Antonio from Lovelady is very good and is a sophmore. Would be hard pressed to find a better in 1a especially that young.
