setxsports
Cowboys Coach sues McDonalds over dead rat Cowboys coach files suit over McDonald's salad 05:33 PM CDT on Thursday, October 26, 2006 By DEBRA DENNIS / The Dallas Morning News FORT WORTH - A member of the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff, his wife and the family's au pair have filed a lawsuit against McDonald’s in Southlake claiming they found a dead rat in their salad. The lawsuit was filed Thursday in state district court on behalf of passing game coordinator Todd Haley, his wife Christine Haley and the family’s live-in babysitter, Kathryn Kelley. According to the lawsuit, Mrs. Haley and Ms. Kelley purchased a salad on June 5 at the McDonald’s restaurant at 2155 W. Southlake Boulevard. Both women had eaten part of the salad before a dead rodent was uncovered, the lawsuit said. The women became violently ill and endured long-lasting physical injuries, the lawsuit said. Mrs. Haley, who was nursing, had to feed her baby with formula. Both women claim severe mental and physical pain and said their dining habits have been altered. They also said they incurred medical and psychological expenses. The lawsuit seeks at least $1.7 million in damages. Local and corporate officials with McDonald's could not be immediately reached for comment. E-mail [email protected] __________________

WildcatPride
"The women became violently ill and endured long-lasting physical injuries, the lawsuit said. Mrs. Haley, who was nursing, had to feed her baby with formula." I guess even Southlake has their problems, too. You know first the budget troubles that Lufkin is trying to help them with, and now a rampant vermin attack on Cowboy luminaries in their midst. Did they a) share the salad, b) actually eat the thang, and c) define long lasting? Diner: Waiter, there is a fly in my soup. Waiter: Shhhh, not so loud. Everyone will want one. goldandwhite
Maybe the Cowboys assistant coach mistakenly ate some of the rat salad too. If he had the same symptoms listed in the story, that might help explain why the Cowboys' passing game was so pitiful the last game.
