fareasttexan
It looks like they have football, baseball, men's/women's basketball, rodeo, softball, volleyball and cheerleading. I guess they just couldn't afford it. It's not a moneymaker and there's certainly not many people out there to even attend games. I'm surprised more schools haven't started dropping programs. Or the fact that everyone that has posted on this topic could go to one of their games and form the biggest crowd of the year.
SptsEd
When they pulled out of the SWJCFC for a second time a few years back it was the beginning of the end. They wouldn't have lasted this long had some of the SWJCFC teams not played them in non-conference games to help them fill out a schedule. Guess I won't be eating at Lilly's One Stop Restaurant by the stadium anymore. By the way, the name of the place says it all!!!
Cub Reporter
Ranger College isn't the only one losing in this deal. Looks like old coffee cups belonging to Gibbs and Aldama will be removed from Kliff's Boomtown Coffee Club wall at the Ranger Dairy Queen.
