There's Johnson, Snow and Harris from Gilmer at 5 and 6 and 43. Darrius Terry from Lufkin, if you consider that ET, Kendall Wright from Pittsburgh, Adren Dorsey from JT, Rodney Chadwick and Allan Brown from Carthage, Trevious Jones from REL, Chance Blackmon and Bryce Beal from Tatum. The list has actually changed since I first posted it. Ketch, being the genius he is, put a 2007 running back at number 86. He has been replaced by Ben Stonestreet. lobo4life
Jermie Calhoun is from Van. That's ET isn't it? Stephen Good is from Paris. That's not too far. Texas is going to dominate recruiting once again. 1 R.J. Washington -- Some say he's better than Eddie Jones. Would be surprised if he ends up somewhere other than Texas. The only thing that worries me is that he wants to play with the Perry kid who's a senior DT right now. 2 Stephen Good -- Was supposed to be an OU lean early on, but rumor has it that he's Mack's top priority on the OL and that could be changing the way he thinks. 3 Jermie Calhoun -- Has already pretty much said he'll commit to UT if he's offered, which he should be. Probably the best RB in the state right now bar none. 4 Andrew Luck - Son of Oliver Luck. Doubt he goes to Texas with the logjam that's going to be there. Plus Texas is said to be high on Taylor Cook who will probably be the lone QB in the class. 5 Justin Johnson - Texas-OU battle. Wherever Creer ends up will be eliminated. Should be fun to watch. His cousin plays for the Sooners and his best friend (Curtis Brown) is about to be a Horn. 6 David Snow -- Chalk this one up for Texas when they offer. I know that for a stone cold fact. 7 J.B. Shugarts -- Heard Ohio State is high on his list. Is actually playing TE right now for his HS team. 8 DeSean Hales -- Not too sure about him. I know he has Texas high on his list right now. Wouldn't surprise me to see the Horns take him. Just depends on what they think he'll be at the next level and how many players they take at different positions. 9 D.J. Monroe -- Big time player. Will commit when offered by the Horns more than likely. 10 Dan Buckner -- Another big time player. Rumor has it that Texas leads big for him too. And those are just the top 10. There won't be any let up from Mack and Co.

lobo4life
Johnson recently said that if Creer goes to either OU or UT that he's not going to follow him. Of course, there's a really good chance that Creer doesn't end up at either, but I do know that OU is still recruiting him and supposedly Creer wants Texas to get back in on him so that's just something to watch. I'd definitely trade Creer to the Sooners this year for Johnson next year. Especially since Calhoun and Jeremy Hills are probably going to come to Austin also. LJLPOP10
But why won't he follow him? Do they not like each other, does JJ not want to sit behind him... what is the reason?
Eagle
I believe their friends, but I think this basically spells it out that JJ wants to play offense (tailback) in college. Its kind of a moot point right now....Creer will go to UGA (possibly OU, especially if Peterson states he will go to the NFL, or he will have a big suprise commitment, maybe to ATM or something like that. Texas will not offer Creer....especially at the cost of Johnson (possibly).
LJLPOP10
Creer won't go to A&M. And we don't really need him. Goodson is looking more explosive every game and although the competition isn't good, Bradley Stephens is VERY GOOD.
Eagle
Goodson has looked good, but he isnt going to carry a major load anytime....Creer and Goodson would be a good 1-2. If AM got him, you'd be crazy to complain.
LJLPOP10
I wouldn't complain, but I'm not complaining that we didn't get him. You also have to remember J-Train is just a soph.

Eagle
I didnt mean Creer was going to sign with ATM. Yes you have a good backfield....but I think he might make some kind of wacky decision like that to go to a lesser program now (which I guess OU qualifies for). LJLPOP10
Once again, he certainly would. But he's not going out of his way to try and get Creer. I would personally rather have Goodson and Stephens than Creer.
lobo4life
I'd definitely take Creer over Stephens. Just my opinion. As for the JJ-Creer thing I don't think that there's any ill will or stuff like that. I just believe that JJ wants to give offense a try and if Creer is in front of him that just that much more trouble for him getting on the field. It's no different than Creer not wanting to follow Vondrell McGee either because he knows how good McGee is, although he has been saying he wants Texas to recruit him again. Personally, I think JJ ends up at LB when its all said and done, but that doesn't matter right now.
LJLPOP10
It's been confirmed that J.B. Shugarts will be in Aggieland for the OU game. This will be his second time to catch a game at Kyle Field.
lobo4life
Good luck with Shugarts. Everyone keeps saying he's pretty much a lock to Ohio State or somewhere up there. I'd love for him to come to Texas, but I won't hold my breath. You guys DEFINITELY need him. You're offensive line recruiting the past couple of years and this year has been pretty offensive.
