Guest TtownEagle803
Marlin wont be a pushover.....however, they got it handed to them 31-7 by Mart. I simply dont think anyone in the state(2A ofcourse) could run with Tatum when they are firing on all cylinders. And ladies and gentleman.....they're firing on all cylinders. Lennon Creer alone is hard to stop, but the talent doesnt stop there. Another addition to the running game is Cashas Pollard and Bryce Beall. The passing game has been dead on and the defense has been punishing people, they'll strait up wreck your dome, and passing is almost pointless against us. Our kick return specialists are among the most feared in the state. You either kick it deep to D-Mo which is more than likely gonna be a TD return or let it fall into the hands of Lennon Creer or Chance Blackmon which is always dangerous. Or do like most teams and kick it out of bounds or strait up and give us great field position. Its a win win situation with the special teams. Bottom line, different road - same destination. Tatum 48 Marlin 20(giving room for them to score on the mop up crew)
Rabfan
you guys are kidding me right? it was just in 03' that marlin was in the state championship game with atlanta. trust me, these guys are loaded with athletes and speed. i think tatum will win it but it won't be by more than 14! Tatum_DirtyBird
That's what everyone thought about Jefferson too. Bottom line is Tatum is on fire right now and are capable of scoring 80 points on just about anyone. Tatum's defense is wreckin shop also. Tatum 45 Marlin 21 (like Ttown said, Tatum mop up crew might give up a few)

Tatum_DirtyBird
Don't worry blackflag, Tatum is very grounded now. They are confident, but not over confident. You can tell when they take the field that they are ready for business. Good Luck Tatum
natty23
after watching tatum play this week..i dont think anyone is going to give them any trouble. yes, anything could happen..but with the talent and intensity tatum plays with, i would be very shocked if they dont repeat. and all i heard about before the jeffeson/tatum game was tatums offense but you gotta give their d alot of credit. kirkland at linebacker was all over the field making tackles all night. tatum is fast at every position on both sides of the ball. one of the best high school football programs ive seen. Tatum_DirtyBird
I know I'm grounded. I get nervous before every game. That's because this is Friday night football. Anything can happen. If Tatum can stay in their " Playoff Mode ", it will be hard for anyone to stop them. The only thing that could kill Tatum would be if Marlin kicks it deep. Poor ole Darnius Moore (#4) has the worst hands in Texas..... hehehe GO GET 'EM EAGLES
highschoolfootballnut
trust a Bulldog fan, Coach Evans is not afraid of Marlin, these guys put a whipping on us and no-one will beat these guys, the posters on this site speak the truth, those kids are focused and know what is at stake. THEY have been there before.
Tatum_DirtyBird
Thank you footballnut, Are those Tatum guys a blast to watch or what? Runaways are not fun to watch unless you are watching Tatum. It is just plain fun to watch what those young men are capable of. They break big plays on offense and defense. I love watchin Tatum. GO GET 'EM EAGLES GATA 19-2A

highschoolfootballnut
I am a HOMER as well, but I appreciate good football and great talent, and we saw lots of it. It doesn't get any better than Texas high school football ....Eagles finish what you started.
