In answer to your questions about the Arp girls, Renee is a Junior shortstop and was newcomer of the year her freshman year. She has exceptional speed and yes I hear she is learning the left hand game too. She hasn't been thrown out stealing a base in two years from what I have been told, she was 42 of 42 her freshman year and 44 of 44 last year. She is also a super young lady and excellent student. The tall lefty I don't know but she only plays first, the new pitcher this year is freshman Alex Holland who will upgrade there pitching greatly, and the left handed catcher is a freshman as well, she is Kandice Krisle who is strong behind the plate as well as at the plate. I also hear they have a young lady from Arp that didn't play last year who is coming back that is suppose to be a really good player. Arp should do well in district this year and who knows may get in the playoffs!!! Good luck ladies have a great year!!

A Fan from afar!

Renee is a great all-round athlete and shines bright on the diamond. She may not have been thrown out stealing in high school but it has happened a few times in select. If she gets on a strong select team that gets noticed she will play college ball. Many talented athletes are looked over because they do not know how to market themselves.

Good luck "NAY NAY"

From what I understand she is now on a very good up and coming select team that is with the Travelers organization out of Dallas. I believe this team is based out of East Texas and made up of all East Texas girls. And yes I am sure she has been thrown out a few times in select since the talent level usually is much better.

It is not the "Travelers".

It is not a strong 18U team and/or Gold team.

I have not seen them in many college recruiting tournaments. What national tournaments have they been in? Are they playing in Colorado this summer?

Sparkler and/or Fireworks?

Hall of Fame in OKC?

All athletes must take an active roll in being recruited.

I wish "NAY NAY" the best!

I contacted someone close to her and she plays for the Travelers ET Gold based out of Canton, they started this past fall and played all the college looks in the Metroplex. They didn't know there schedule yet for the spring since it is so early and most tournaments are just now getting posted. And also from what I was told they have a pretty good lineup, and have improved it since the fall. Hopefully they will be successful, and help these young ladies in there search for college scholarships.

That is my point.

Renee is a junior. This summer will be the most important time for her to be seen by the "big guys". The Colorado tournaments are full. They might have a small chance of going to OKC. Most of the big powerhouse college coaches recruit from the all star games at these tournaments. Renee has the speed these coaches are looking for.

I am not saying she can not get recruited. Her chances increase if she attends the better tournaments. The best tournaments are already full with better known teams.

Getting the best scholarships is all about marketing.
