thepirate Posted April 4, 2007 Share Posted April 4, 2007 Broderick Meekings (in the 100M) and Buck Thompson (in the discus) from Winona qualified for the Texas Relays. I know Tatum qualified a few and other good 2A schools could have, but other than that, I do not know of many 2A schools in the area taking kids. This is really a great accomplishment for two kids from a small 2A school in East Texas...Buck qualified along with the Baker kid from Pine Tree and the Fleet kid from Tyler Lee. knighttime07 Posted April 4, 2007 Share Posted April 4, 2007 The Hawkins girls 4x100 relay qualified as well. The team consists of Madison Gattis, Ashlee Simmons, De'Ona Davis, and Courtney Davis.
