What do you collect?

Money. It is always going to worth at least face value and most of the of times only goes up in value. I find it a safe investment. I usually but people birth year proof sets when their children are born. It sparks new collectors some times.

This may not come as a surprise to those who know what I do, but I collect patches from professional fire departments. It kind of started by accident. Before I knew it, I had quite a collection.

I also collect antique metal signs, many of which are displayed at our restaurant. I make the servers pay for them with their tips (not really, just thought I'd see if Dave-O was reading my posts). :whome:

Man, those metal signs can get addicting. I wouldn't say I have a collection, but I do have quite a few adorning the walls of my shop!

Knives...... I have between 150-200 knives.... Most are fairly new, not even taken out of the boxes but some are extremely old.. 75% are folding pocket knives and the rest are fixed blade hunting/skinning knives. I have knives that are as small as 1 inch including the handle and some that are very long but I will not get into particulars there.:P

I have knives that cost less than 1 dollar and knives that cost over $200 and many, many in between.

Bleeds, what is the name of your restaurant if you don't mind my asking?

Oh, and I don't collect anything anymore. I had a very impressive baseball card collection as a teen that I had stolen. Haven't had the heart to collect anything since.....well besides ducks and duck bands(a very small collection)
