I also remember when Carter set the record, went on to star at SMU before making a pretty good pro in the NFL. I believe he competed in the Olympic Games also. The guy was a great athlete. It is the high school sports forum, but as the description says limit it to baseball, football and basketball only...that's why there is a track forum to discus track-related items.
