greenguy
Safetyman - I liked the humor...thats what keeps the world going round.....although I am a little nervous... based on your estimates the Indians pitcher might have about 10-15mph on ours....dang it. Safetyman
Glad to hear that. If you get up to around 50 we would be in trouble so it might help us because our bats are slowwwww.
WeldonWildcat
Ought to be a real good game but, The Sandies are my pick!
Safetyman
Looks like it's 5 to 2 with Grapeland ahead in the prediction department. My prediction Carlisle 5 Grapeland 3.
oldcoach
Grapeland wins this one.
Safetyman
I guess it's 6 to 2 now. The emotions of the Carlisle players will have a lot to do with this game both good and bad. Will they be able to contain their emotions they have for "Skinney" or will they be overcome by them? If they are able to contain their emotions think Carlisle will win. I know the players and coaches and they will not use it as an excuse if they lose.
Safetyman
For those that are interested there will be a baseball tournament to help out Coleton's family. Check out the post from Smoaky at the top of the first page.

Safetyman
Grapeland jumped out to a 4-0 lead after two. Carlisle changed pitchers from Coleman to Q. Wedel. Wedel has shutdown Grapeland for six innings. Carlisle scored 1 in the fourth, 2 in the fifth and 1 in the sixth. Carlisle will be batting in the bottom of the eighth with no outs and no one on base and their number 6 hitter up. sfacujackcat
Carlisle probably needs to win it in the eighth because Wedel is close to being done and Grapeland has 1,2,3 up in the top of the ninth
sfacujackcat
Just a side note, but Wedel's brother Coleton, the one with cancer, was at the game tonight...he got in the dugout after the second inning and the Indians rallied to tie the game after that...it was good to see him there and I know his spirits definitely lifted them
Safetyman
Q should be all right since they are not playing until Saturday but I agree they need to go ahead and put it away in the eighth.
