Rock and Roll - The Beatles

Heavy Metal - Iron Maiden

Psychedelic Rock - Jimi Hendrix Experience

Punk - The New York Dolls

Hair Bands - Def Leppard

Grunge - Nirvana

Country - Johnny Cash

Gospel - Black Sabbath, just joking, I don't care for Gospel music that much. If I had to listen to Gospel, I'd choose Elvis Presley.

Folk - Bob Dylan

R & B - The Supremes

Hip Hop - None

Rap - None

Choose just one - The Beatles

Elvis? Although I know Elvis had a spiritual side, and he released a gospel album, not sure he could be termed a gospel singer. But hey, whatever butters your bread.

Americana - Reckless Kelly

Texas - Ronald Crosby (better known in these parts as Jerry Jeff Walker, and born not in Texas but in Oneonta, New York).

Rock - Pink Floyd

Southern Rock - old Lynyrd Skynyrd

Country - I'm out (not a band, I'm just out on mainstream country)

Christian - Third Day

R&B - Teddy Pendergrast or Marvin Gaye

Instrumental - The organ lady at The Ballpark at Arlingoton

Rock = Rush

Country = Jerry Jeff Walker

New Wave = The Cars

Adult Contemporary = Chicago

Soul = Marvin Gaye

Rap/Hip-Hop = None (rather have a barbed wire enema than be forced to listen to this stuff).

If I had to pick just one genre-----> Rock----->RUSH
