Some Serious ones although I prefer the funny although they easily offend. I have a couple of books one with funny quotes on life and one with serious quotes on life.

It was actually the Dali Lama himself that first uttered these inspiring words to Carl so the credit should actually go to him.
Technically, you are correct. However, I did not witness the Lama blessing us with the quote, only Carl. However, I have no reason to believe Carl would lie.
