watznext
The newspaper reported that the freshman kicker that stepped in for PG was 6 for 6 against Mt. Vernon last week, including 2 field goals. That's a great job under pressure for a kid that didn't expect to be thrown out there. Keep up the good work! Guest gtowndawg10
I heard that Garrison Has 2 Cornerbacks that are pretty good #8 Scooter Ross and #10 Darayvios Allison and they could go all district in 19AA this year. They held EF's elite Quarterback just under 90 yards passing and i heard he is going to University of Utah Next Fall. I heard alot of things about scooter ross, but ive never heard of the other guy?

THSfanatic
Feel obligated to mention Soph QB Nathan Sorenson at Texas High. Taking over for Mallett he has grown by leaps & bounds since the first game. Last week throwing for 295 yds & 5TDs. He's exceeding everyone's expectations as a Soph. Nice runner too. KDog84
I think Jacksonville is taking it on the chin this year at 1-7 so far. They have around 14 sophomores on varsity. I couldn't tell exactly how many as several players were not listed in the game program. They will better next year. They have several sophomores getting significant playing time that will only help them the next 2 years. We'll see how this pans out over the next 2 years. gamewatcher
Kilgore's got a sophomore kicker named Bustin who does punting, field goals, PATs, and kick-offs. He had 3 touch backs in game against Henderson and makes field goals over 40 yds. He is also 29 for 30 on PATs for the year.

The two tailbacks, Jonathan Brown and Chris Hall are both sophmores. Jeremy Chapelle, who started last year as a freshman, was hurt during the season but still contributed. There leading tackler on defense, Justin Jones was there starting MLB. The others that got significant playing time are: Duke Hamilton(WR/DB), Hunter Priest(quick guard), Corey Hamilton(WR/S), Chris Waggoner(OLB), Kendrick Hatton(MLB), and Clint Copeland(WR). There were others who were on varsity to begin the season, but got moved back down to JV. Sorry if I missed andbody.
