Medman7
I passes on one 300+ on opening day. Just sis not want to put my chances of shooting a deer at risk. He had 4 ladies with him 200+ and about 10 piglets from 10-50lbs each. These things are relentless.
bigdawg16
Well i shot him right at dark and found him the next day. We have a standing rule on our lease..it does not matter what your hunting..if you see a hog...your hog hunting.
Medman7
I know that a lot of leases have went that way to try to cut back on the numbers. The sad part about it is that you could just about kill one a day and still have plenty left.
bigdawg16
We kill them all but really try and focus on the gilts and sows. I killed 3 opening weekend and 2 other guys shot one a piece. Not a bad weekend considering 4 of those were females. One was heavy bred and one of the ones i shot had 4 lil ones that probably won't make it. Well PETA may think that it is cruel, but something has got to give with these things. They have turned into the giant fleas of East Texas. Keep up the thinning.
