Springplaya
What school does Will Barry go too? I know a few guys in district 21-AA who are pretty good distance wise. Pretty hard district this year with so many senior runners and and quite a few who went to state this past year for cross country. There was also decent middle distant runner from West Rusk. As far as sprints and relays 21-AA is pretty well known with schools such as Arp and Tatum duking it out every chance they get. i.e: last year at the regional qualifiers meet (White Oak) Tatum drops the stick, goes back picks it up and still wins. That's speed.

68Hornet
With LaMichael James transferring to Arkansas High I hear the Razorbacks will be going to the Texas Relays. They now have three guys that can run 10.5 or faster in 100 with Fred Rose and Dennis Johnson.

FeelinRealGood
Garrison girls will be great team to watch in track this year..they won last year dis. 19-2A Very true. But there's also talent (girls wise) in other parts of the district. Obviously arp with the girl that won regionals :notworthy: this past year for CC. But EF has a pretty decent girls team also. But Garrison's got a good shot.

So instead of Arp and Garrison, I'm gunna say Garrison and Tatum.

TheBigSecondaryCoach
Josh Pauley from west rusk, He missed state in the 800 by a fraction of a second as a freshmen, he'll be a force this year
HankTheCowDog
What was Pauley's best time as a frosh? Texastrack.com has him winning the district meet with a 2:11, but he is not listed at the regional meet. Spencer Lynn from White Oak will make some noise in the 3200 this year. got2score
Darius Jones (Marshall), 4 gold medals at the Pinetree meet last Thursday - 100mm dash, long jump, triple jump and was on the 4x200 relay that took the gold.
Gladerunner07
2:11 is not too bad for a frosh but I got 8th in my region with a 2:05 but I ran a 2:01 at district man I wish I would have went to state. An Spencer should be a district champ in the 3200 and 1600 but I geuss will see what my boy Jeff has up his sleve in the 3200.
ETFootball
I was at a track meet last night with my middle school and saw an unbelieveable 8th grade athlete from Sulphur Springs. I think his last name was Daniels. Ran somewhere around 11.2 100, long jumped almost 18 feet and did well in other events. 5 golds if I remember right.
