Liberty-Eylau Pep Rally

Recommended Posts

Since we'll miss graduation scheduled for this coming Thursday.... all the senior girls and parents talked with our Superintendent after the game tonight. There will be a pep rally at the LE softball field Tuesday night at 8:00 pm. Our senior girls will wear their caps and gowns and have a graduation ceremony at the field. Then they'll board the bus for Austin Wednesday morning. Good Luck Lady Leopards! We'll be right behind you!

To all the players, coaches and fans of LE.......Your community should be proud of you...You won with class, dignity and heart...The fans, parents and players of Springhill wish you all the best of luck in state...We hated to lose but someone has to...So now go win it so we can tell everyone we lost to the state champions. THIS SERIES WAS AMAZING!

First of all, I'd like to say that the teams our girls have played this year have been true tests of their abilities, and classy bunches every one! Over the years, you run into teams and/or their fans that are arrogant, cocky, rude, and sometimes even threatening - and human nature being what it is, we're all capable of acting like that. I can honestly say that, in my opinion, every team the LE girls have battled in the playoffs has earned our respect for being true competitors with excellent attitudes and never-say-die work ethics. And they are all such young teams!

Secondly, I am so proud of the Lady Leopards and Coaches Tipton and Lange. You've really found yourselves as ballplayers and teammates this year, through sorrow, injury, and adversity. There's a strong core there that has shown through time and time again in each of you, as you have stepped up and taken care of business from all parts of the field and batting order. Fans and families, your support for this team is amazing and essential to their success.

Lastly (feeling long-winded today), thank you Liberty Eylau ISD, Supt. Micah Lewis, and Principal Lewis Lincoln for making sure our senior ballplayers have both their graduation ceremony and their trip to state.

KALE - meet you in Austin!
