Smoaky
I'm telling you upfront---there's a lot of movement this week, and I'm sure that will create discussion. Some teams that won actually fell---a team or two that lost moved up---but it's about comparing the first two weeks of competition and scores. Unlike the statewide poll---it's not a ladder, teams in that poll that win stay where they are---teams that lose usually fall off the face of the earth, but I'm a big believer in who you play. I'm sure I won't satisfy most of you, but believe me, I did as much research and talking amongst "myself" as possible. I hope you enjoy, and yes--feel free to ask questions, or throw darts. One note about the darts---when I was in 7th-grade, my second-oldest brother Michael was playing air darts, and he says he "accidentally" lost control of one of them and it landed in my neck, a 1/8th of an inch away from my jugular vein. Blame him for not being more accurate in me still being alive, and also---now you know a little more why I like to talk too much---I almost lost that privilege a long time ago. Smoaky Class 5-A: 1. THS70
My primary interests lie with the 4A teams and will have to agree totally with you on your call. Marshall and Kilgore could be interchanged, possibly. Longview is a valid #1 without question, and as a THS alumni and big fan, I was wondering what you think separates Texarkana and Sulphur Springs now after week 2. 68Hornet
I think North Lamar will be higher in the future. They're a very solid 3A team. If they had good team speed they'd be a great 3A team. Liberty-Eylau may drop out of your top 10 after the next two weeks because they've got Gilmer and Nashville, Ark., which has won three consecutive 4A state championships in Arkansas. With this said I still think L-E is one of the top 3A teams in East Texas. Their team really reminds me of the 2003 Atlanta team. If they jell they could really be good. If they don't they may miss the playoffs. Pleasant Grove, New Boston and Atlanta are dangerous teams. Atlanta may go 2-8, but the Rabbs always play L-E tough. Tiger1995
3 Yes 3 men that seemed be coaches they may not have been but I was sure they were. That is awesome if they can spear that much time to watch a game which might have had a team they may play in the playoffs. Both teams are #1 seed in there districts and have looked good early. good luck to them and maybe we see them in the post season

KirtFalcon
Judging from their first couple of games, I'm thinking Corrigan-Camden may be as good as anybody in 2A in East Texas. :pirate:
