Donnie
This is a must watch, and this is the real truth regarding Obama. Newt's take down of the reporter with a highly reasonable challenge that the reporter refuses to respond too, is at the end of this short video. It simply lays out the truth regarding Obama with a "Please tell me" question from Newt Gingrich. It totally says it all. Newt Gingrich takes on MSNBC Reporter who Backs Off... Please turn on your sound. http://newt.org/tabid/193/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/3682/Default.aspx A snarling MSNBC commentator Keith Olbermann afterward said he would come after Newt on his points, but also retreated and never did so. Lhornfan
Newt Gingrich is an intelligent man, and his comments were right on the money. However, this young reporter didn't back off, back down or even refuse to respond. After Newt challenges him, he says he's going not going to argue, and he appreciated Newt's time. IMO the interview was simply over. Whatever Olbermann said is totally different. He seems to be getting into it with a lot of folks these days. He should have stayed with ESPN. As a reporter, should he have expressed feeling of not wanting to argue? By making that statement he showed he had an opinion. In my opinion he showed himself to be anything but a true journalist. He should have simply told Mr. Gingrich thank you and left. But he fully showed what he was..an Obaminite! I agree with Hannity, 2008 will go down as the year journalism died! TxBroadcaster
2008 will go down as the year journalism died! It died the day News Teveision became 24/7....Things became instead of giving the news, but giving the news AND opinion to bring more ratings...instead of tuning in 20 mins for headline news and reports they want you to tune in 1 hour for the news, and the views on the news People then began blurring what is a news anchor and what is an OP/ED taking head and not understanding the difference
RufusJones
I think it died when so called journalist began using and quoting left wing bloggers as fact. And I'm talking major news outlets!
