max89
Have to go with Metoyer! The kid has been tearin it up!! He is only a sophmore.. He will be special when he is finally a senior! (And will more than likely own several records if he keeps up this pace)

THSfanatic
RIVALS has Cobi Hamilton of Texas High ranked #59 nationally in WRs. Only 4 receivers in Texas are rated ahead of him and I don't believe any are from East Texas. He has at least 8 D1 inquiries as of now.
68Hornet
Marquez Clark is the best receiver you'll probably never hear much about in regards to passing game because Liberty-Eylau doesn't throw the ball much.
bordertown
Cobi Hamilton stats - 16 rec 328 yds 5 TDs What makes Cobi so highly ranked is his speed. Finish 4th at AAU nationals in the 200m. He is dangerous like T.O., but like T.O. he drops some he needs to catch. Great improvement over last year. Scorched Tyler JT.
RedWhiteBlue
Marquez Clark is the best WR in east texas period. A true Athlete who can play anything on the field and be ALL STATE!!!...don't believe Cobi Hamilton is better but he has the upper hand cause Liberty Eylau will never throw the ball unless it's forced to...MARQUEZ CLARK is the real deal!!!! footballcrazy19
Trey Metoyer is a BEAST. 'Nough Said He's just as good... if not better than Bart Henderson was his senior year.

He is better than Henderson. Henderson wouldn't go after balls and pouted on bad throws and picks.
footballcrazy19
True. Another thing that sets Trey apart from the rest, is that over his young career he hasn't gotten complacent. Every year since JH, Trey has shown improvement and has always had the desire to be better than the guy next to him.

footballcrazy19
What Im getting at, is alot of good receivers have success and then don't push themselves to the next level and bottom out, but Trey hasn't done that over the years.... HornetSenoir
Joe Gilliard from Boles Is a very good reciver. He plays the in the Wing Back(or Z) Position, But he is the main reciever . Brain Westbrook like talent. Has a good chance to score every time he catches the ball in the open field. He is very fast(4.5 in pads), can cut on a dime, and when he finds a crease he is gone. Last week he dived full out and Caught an overthrown pass: one of the best catches I have ever seen. I would rank him at the top of the 1A recievers with Marlon Mcclure of Tenaha. He will be a slot reciever in College because of his size, 5'7" 160 Lbs. Texas Tech is considering giving him a scholarship. 9 rec., 221 yds, 24.56 Avg, 5 tds He would have more receptions but Boles gets big leads in the first half and then dosen't pass in the second half. Sandiedad
Yes the T-man is the bomb!!! He is an amazing reciever and I would say possibly an even better defensive back!!! Honorable mention corner as a soph. and better every game. On top of that he is a very quiet and polite kid, very respectful. I expect even bigger things in his future!! HvilleCat23
Dadrian Johnson from hallsville, he has two Tds and around 100 yards. Plus 4 Int grabs. So i put as him one of the top Defensive receivers ^_^

5starboss
From the players I've seen.... SS has a solid crew. It helps to have a D1 QB throwing the ball. WHouse #17--- Trey M has D1 talent Gilmer has a good one too...IDK his name.
