TeamWhite
Congrats to Cayuga on a hard fought win. It was a great game. As a Maud fan I was sad for our kids. Go get that state champ. for Region 3.

4everaCardinal
Cayuaga played a great game! Congratulations. BUT to the players and the coaches: It was very rude and disrespectful that your team did not take a knee when Cardinal #22 got hurt! Yes the players on the sidelines did take a knee the entire time but the players that were playing at the time of the accident did not take a knee the entire time! sandiesportsfan5
as a fan from grapeland congrats to yuga for the win. Maud came with a totally different gameplan then when they played us. they fed big number 9 the ball the whole night and ate up the clock kinda expected them to do the same to yall to try to keep the ball out of yalls playmakers hands. But he never got the ball once. Great game yuga and congrats to kennedy for making that awesome pick and the 2 touchdowns.

On a sad note #22 has two vertebrae broke in his neck according to reports , he is in Parkland Hospital and will see a specialist tomorrow .. Please keep him in your prayers . I was afraid he might have done some real damage when he made that tackle. That was one of the hardest hits I have seen this year and I watch a lot of 3 and 4A ball. Our thoughts and prayers are with the young man. He is a very gifted athlete and I hope he can return to play the game again. Good luck also to Cayuga. I did not know much about either team today. From the information that I had, what I had read and the conversations with fans and parents prior to the game, it seemed that Cayuga would not be able to beat Maud. I was very impressed with Cayuga's effort as well as their athletes. Maud was a big team, but other than the Hartsell boy, I thought the Cayuga team was more talented. Just this one game is all I could go on. I am sure Maud did not play as well as they have been this year. Great season by both teams.

Skyline was playing (i forget who) and Skyline nailed one of the other teams players....he had to be carried off the field but tried to walk on his own, started trotting and fell flat on his face! It was aweful, it's aweful anytime a player is seriously injured...Blake you are being lifted up in prayer as we speak!

I'm sure our boys thought he was okay.....Don't think those boys don't have the utmost respect for every player that steps on the field against them....Sorry you feel that way....Blake is in all our prayers and keep us updated. FIVETOOL
4evercardinal.....We are and were very very very concerned for that young man. I find it insane that you would make those comments. Our prayers and all of Cayuga are for the young man and we will continue to be. I am very sorry you feel the way you do, but you are way off on your comments. Bowie county teams 0-3 in Royse City. Ya'll do have a nice facility though. Cayuga does have a very talented team and hopefully they'll win a State Championship. It's good to hear about all the thoughts and prayers coming from all the Cayuga folks for Blake Hill. Keep em coming, please.

funnywalker
Sorry that Blake got hurt. Our prayers are with him. As I heard it, he broke 2 vertebra in his neck and will be out of commission for about 6 months if he heals properly. Hopefully he can play again next year. to Blake - sorry that your birthday didn't go as planned.

Medman7
Man I had way too much to do this weekend to even turn the computer on and boy was I tickled when I got on this morning. First I would like to congratulate Maud on an outstanding seson. You guys done a heck of a job this year. Secondly, I cannot express how proud I am of Cayuga. You guys have really been fighting hard this year and now you find yourself on the brink of bringing a state championship home. I wish you guys nothing but the best next week. I really hope that you get to bring that trophy home. Congratulations for a job well done!!!!! :happy65:
