mtsubry
Prosper Girls 6 Sherman 1 Congrats Beck and crew! The Prosper girls got back to their winning ways last night, and won their first district game ever. After opening up District play with losses to McKinney and Little Elm, this week was better with a scoreless tie @ Denison, and a win vs. Sherman last night. Prosper still faces an uphill climb with home games this week vs. McKinney North and McKinney. But, the ship is headed in the right direction, and the sky is the limit for the Lady Eagles! If anyone is paying attention to what the Kennedale LadyKats are doing...it's amazing! They are a great team that is leading a competitive district! Coach Zeller and his girls should be proud! Keep it up, and hopefully some 3A teams from North TX could meet in the postseason!!!
Wildcats
Well it wasn't so amazing tonight. We completely fell apart. If it was going to happen it couldn't have come at better time. We can still clinch our first playoff berth with a win this Friday night over Everman. Kennedale Girls 0 Midlothian 7 1-0 at half then disaster We fell to 15-2-4 on the season and 3-1-2 in district. Stinks (I'd use the other word but it would probably filter it) but we'll get back on track!
futfan
How are the 3A's in East Texas and South Texas doing? Was it Silsbee that was pretty good at the Palestine tournament? In District 29, the two 4A teams are 1-2, everyone else is 3A and fills in the rest. All teams records are one win apart. Mt P, THS, Pitt, PG, Atl, LE. Wildcats
2/27: Kennedale Girls 5 Everman 0 Standings after 2/27: Timberview 5-1-1 (11) *clinched playoffs Midlothian 5-1-1 (11) *clinched playoffs Kennedale 4-1-2 (10) *clinched playoffs Legacy 2-3-2 (6) Everman 1-5-1 (3) Seguin 0-6-1 (1) Top 3 teams: Kennedale tied and lost to Midlothian. Timberview beat Midlothian - next match 3/10. Kennedale beat Timberview - next match 3/13. Shoud be an interesting finish. Legacy will more than likely be the other playoff team. None of the top 4 spots are locked at this point though. If Kennedale wins and Legacy loses next Friday then Legacy would be locked at 4th no matter what. lionsfan
23-4A Men: Poteet - clinched championship West Mesquite - clinched spot Kaufman - clinched spot Forney Terrell Royse City WM plays at Terrell Friday night on what will be a very nasty field. Kaufman plays at Forney Friday night. Kaufman has clinched the playoffs, but can move up to 2nd with a win over Forney and a WM loss to Terrell, but WM should beat Terrell...even on a nasty field. Ladies: Poteet - clinched championship, and should be top 3 team in the state, over 100 goals this season Forney - clinched 2nd Terrell - clinched playoff spot Kaufman - clinched playoff spot West Mesquite Royse City Terrell should lock up 3rd Friday night with a win over WM, and Kaufman will then be locked into the 4th spot. Kaufman is the only 3A team in this district, and have had a great year to put both the Men's and Ladies' teams into the playoffs...way to go Kaufman!!!! Wildcats
Good job Coach Beck and the Lady Eagles. I was wondering how the final standings turned out. We're happy to see that you made it in. Good luck Thursday! Funny that we're both hosting our games in our first ever playoff game.
