DieHardCubFan
I wonder how much Obama but kissing will take place on stage? Oh my gosh Straw! Do you remember when Algore, who flew a charter jet to LA & a limo to the awards the year he won for his ####-a-mentary film on global warming?...and how those libs in Hollywood almost went into sexual convulsions over him being there.... This year's ceremony will make that look like a teenager's premature.....

Guest bleeds
Milk wins best picture. Penn wins best actor. Based solely on the fact that the movie is about a homosexual.

chase.colston
Cheapy, there may not be a more talented actress out there. But I know you like her for other reasons, too, and I don't think it's just the accent. :)
CAPTTIGER
The Oscars are the most over rated awards in the world.
cheaptrick77
^ no sir, there are no more overrated award shows than the Grammys, any MTV Award Show, The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremonies or the ESPYs. The Oscars "get it right" more often than other award shows ... but I am in no way suggesting that it is the difinative word on movie greatness. Mantle -- I love Kate for all the reasons you mentioned. She is the best actor/actress of this generation... Milk wins best picture. Penn wins best actor. Based solely on the fact that the movie is about a homosexual. Interesting ... that is the reason why I always thought Brokeback Mountain did not win Best Picture two years ago ... :hmm:

Wildcat_20
Milk wins best picture. Penn wins best actor. Based solely on the fact that the movie is about a homosexual. Sadly you r probably right, I saw it and the movie is not even comparable to Button, Slumdog, or Gran Torino which is noticeably absent...What a joke the oscars are. Wildcat_20
Well at least they got it right with Slumdog, and Winslet, but Milk #$@%!* i'm sorry. In my opinion Rourke was much much better.
