HankTheCowDog
I think Immortal was trolling for Cheapy when he threw the Georgia Satellites into this discussion. (See "What's in your CD player" topic 4/16/09.) I've always preferred "All Over but the Crying" to "Hands to yourself" When the term One Hit Wonder is bandied about, the first one that comes to mind for me is "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum. threejs
This one will make Cheapy pull his hair out for a couple of reasons. The first being the "theft" of the music and the 2nd. being the quality of the song. Ice Ice Baby - by Vanilla Ice Please tell me he didn't have another hit!! I've always preferred "All Over but the Crying" to "Hands to yourself" When the term One Hit Wonder is bandied about, the first one that comes to mind for me is "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum. Actually, no I wasn't. I have never been on the "what's in your CD player thread" because, frankly, I don't care what is in any of your CD players. "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" was a perfectly reasonable answer to the thread topic. If anyone is trolling on this thread, it is Cheap..... HankTheCowDog
I'll take this one Cheapy. It was actually England Dan and John Ford Coley; they had other hits but no titles come to mind right now. However, England Dan, under his real name of Dan Seals had a long and very successful career as a country artist. Sadly, he died recently. Dash Seals of Seals and Croft was his brother.
