HankTheCowDog
Randy Rogers Band will play the Electric Cowboy in Tyler May 20 according to their website. They will be in Huntsville at the Jolly Fox this Thursday for a 3PM(?) show. Ah, the Jolly Fox; I haven't set foot in there since I moved from Huntsburg to Longview in 1981. If memory serves correctly, country acts were not welcome there back then. Count me as being a bit disappointed in the RR Band's newest album. It's not bad but is a step down from "Just a Matter of Time" to me. On a couple of songs, he sounds like he is emulating that whiney, Tim McGraw style that I dislike intensely. Switchblade
Cross Canadian Ragweed. Best band going right now.
JSmith06
The Casey Donahew Band, IMO, is the best there is right now. I'm going to have to agree with this... 1. Casey Donahew 2. Whiskey Myers 3. Jamie Richards 4. Cody Riley Band 5. Brandon Rhyder that is my top 5 right now, but there are many, many more great bands that are starting to make a name for themselves... E86T
I'm a big Charlie Robison fan myself. Here in Nacogdoches, Texas Country is the only kind of music that comes. I like it but after I've seen Kevin Fowler, Cross, Stoney LaRue, Randy Rogers, and everyone else 10 times it gets kinda old.
