I'll get into Goal differential and stuff as we get closer to the end, but as you can see the top 4 are really close together. The top 3 advance to the World Cup automatically while the 4th best team has to play the 5th best team from South America, (which will probably be either Argentina or Columbia).

Anyway, to beat T&T on the road we need to control possession and make sure that Kenwyn Jones doesn't beat us, they also have a fast wing player whose name escapes me. Jozy needs to be tight with the ball in the 75 minutes or so he will play and not have too many turnovers. You have to play Davies and Altidore to have the best chance of winning because they are the most dynamic forwards we have athleticism wise. When we play that combo we are tough to handle for even the best teams. Altidore won't play the whole game because he is still trying to get fit but playing a lot at Hull City will help that.

Of course we are working on skills like crazy. But there seems to be a lot of different options as far as academy teams. Also, there are a lot of options as far as playing while we’re doing academy. Some academy teams seem to compete while others don’t.



Cost is an issue so I’m trying to find the best bang for the buck. Any advice?

This is the most awesome group of players from Chapel Hill/Lindale/RELee/Brook Hill and they have been playing together for years and they have the greatest coach ever!!

Thank you to Paul Frye for being a great coach and friend to these girls, you have been a big part of why these girls are the players they are today in high school and I sure hope you keep the team together until they all leave for college!!

It's a darn shame all of these girls don't go to the same school!!!

Spain is the class of this tournament I believe, they are #1 in the world in the FIFA rankings and it's not close, they are going to win that group with great ease. team would start on PT or Lobo team. I think the Bobcats were 0for23 in the scoring column against

This was the second shootout in a row for Poteet. They went to a shootout with Hillcrest.
McKinney went to overtime before they finally scored to knock off McKinney North, for the third time this season.

The surprise team in the upper bracket is Carrollton Newman Smith. After finishing third in their district, they have now beaten Little Elm, Greenville, and Friday nite they knocked off their own District 18 Champs,Carrollton RLTurner. They will now face West Mesquite, who put a late season loss on their District 23 Champs, Poteet

JT Boys won their first playoff game in a decade? 1-0 against HarkerHeights. They now face Garland Sasche, previously ranked 3rd in the nation, currently 11th.
REL Boys take on Richardson after they beat Garland Naaman Forest, a previous national top 20 team, 1-0. Lee has a pretty decent road and decent chance to regional semi finals, before they would have to face Klein or KleinOak, and regional finals would be against Sasche or Belton, now ranked 5th in the nation. Provided they can get past Richardson.
side note: Richardson was one of those nobodies that Lindale defeated 2-1. If I'm not mistaken, Lindale may be the only 4A or 5A team thats unbeaten and untied in the entire state. If theres another team, someone would have to enlighten me, cause I haven't found them. Quite an acheivement. Lower part of upper bracket, Nac should get past Waco, and face the winner of the Pal vs Hewitt Midway, a very tough matchup for Palestine. I'd love to see a Nac vs Palestine playoff atmosphere game where the winner would be facing big,bad Brenham who will come in from the lower part of this bracket. Brenham will be following the yellow brick road to and thru the regional finals unless someone can stop them.

Lower bracket looks like Scarborough/Friendswood and Angleton/Elgin will be fighting it out to see who will face one of the Houston teams, H.Sharpstown/H. SulphurSprings has the bye and plays the winner of this game, not your best choice for your first opponent.
Mesquite Poteet is in the lower section of the same brackets as McKinney, has a first round bye, but would have to get past Richardson Pearce 1st before a possible matchup in the quarterfinals between the top two soccer teams in region 2 Dallas area. (Mckinney vs.Poteet)
Paris is in this same bracket with a bye, but waits on MckinneyNorth vs Frisco winner.

In the upper bracket, looks like Little Elm and Carrollton RL Turner are headed for a third round matchup, provided they get past Greenville and North Lamar, respectively.
