all i'm saying is, we work really hard ( not that all the other bands dont, because all the bands at state were awesome) but we have bragging rights. so when ever we do get a tiny bit arogant, there is no need for everyone to jump all over us.
No one likes a sore loser. if Clifton would have won, i wouldnt expect them to not brag. they would have the right.
its not like i'm coming on here posting all kinds of stuff about how bad i hate this band or how bad this band is.
Moral is- Queen City has bragging rights "dude".
No one from Queen City is arogant, confident? yes and sometimes a little "braggy"? yes. but thats okay in my point of view.

a tiny bit arrogant? And it's okay in your point of view because your the one doing it. I mean a murderer is a saint in his own eyes. The point is just earn your respect and stop trying to dig compliments out of everyone. Thats all i've got to say, none of that was meant to be hurtful. It was just supposed to open your eyes a little.

We have pretty much accepted that we will be going down to 2a. the worst part is not going to great places like LE, Pittsburg, or Pleasant Grove, i'm going to miss that stuff for a while. Academically though, we will dominate in 2A.

PG looked great this year by the way. What types of contests do you go to?

Thanks for the kind words.
The band did a show based on the video game Halo and final fantasy.
It would've been a great show for state year in '10.

They went to Mount Pleasant and won overall champ, and went to Natchitoches, LA and won Grand Champion out of the 32 bands there, in addition to their class, best Drum Major, and best Auxillary.

I also loved the stand music that was played. Our director was actually very intrigued and asked for your band to fax some music, and sure enough we got up to date music in about 2 days. LOL

Congrats on all your success, and good luck in the future!

So THATS how we ended up with the same school song! (and Mount Vernon) bangin.gif
Whole lotta sharin among bands! Maybe we could have a share the style day. PG and NB could have a camp where they have to march each others style! That would be cultural!

why yes, ha they were. QC was not expecting that. it hit us really hard. i dont think we could have won state if we wouldnt have lost that because people had the idea that we were automatically going to win everything. baha.
