That is exactly what stalled the UT offense earlier in the year. No one stepped up to take Quan Cosby's place in the offense. Things are looking better though, and I think Colt has gained trust in guys like Kirkendoll, Chiles and Buckner. Marquis Goodwin and Malcolm Williams are both explosive but still learning the offense. Next year could be a tough building year without Shipley leaving and Gilbert at QB. Expect to see a better running game in 2010 to give Gilbert some growing time. agree; and I don't think you can discount the loss of Brandon Collins. McCoy stated that Collins was one of the best WR prospects ever to wear the burnt orange. A lot of talk in the summer about the connection on the field between McCoy and Collins during the summer. |

Ok lets try something. Aside from the record what makes you think he is the best qb in the big 12. He doesnt have the best arm. His high completion percentage is off mostly short routes to shipley. He doesnt make great choices with the ball sometimes...His int are among the bottom portion of big 12 starters. I just dont see how he is so great compared to others who do more with less talent. And as far as johnson having a bad night i dont see it. He is too smart to throw many ints. His worst night of the season is and will be K st. he will not have a big game against texas but he will not lose it for them either...Their secondary will do that lol Mr. Johnson meets a real defense (as most of us have stated); oh yeah, ALL BIG 12. How's the humble pie. McCoy is the All Big 12 QB...PERIOD |
