Ridum my post was meant to be read in a sarcastic mean manner lol but I guess I didn't do a mean enough job

Yeah I probably would have been alot harsher... Gladewater better not schedule us next year. Cuz I will be the cockiest jerk you have ever seen and I dang sure won't eat any crow no matter the result.

golfingnut I appreciate you saying we got better although I might have overlooked the one nice thing youve said out of the many posts. Hope yall have a good basketball season .... Center wouldve made the playoffs in yalls districts and I hope yall heal up from the devastating loss Carthage handed yall to end the season......better luck next year....We beat Tatum and they don't even talk smack and youve been doing it for 3 months now.....Our district is tougher than your district swallow the pill and get over it.

Riders09, first you aren't in our district, so what do you want from me? Do you want me to say y'all would make the playoffs from our district? I can't do that because you aren't in it. You've had a great season, gotten better each week, and now you are moving on.That's wonderful.

You say I have talked smack for 3 months. I think that's what we usually do, but if you will look back at all my post in those said 3 months, you will see that I only respond when someone degrades my team,or talks smack to me. I am like everyone else on this site, who has the right to defend their team, and in some cases this year their school, and their coaches. That's what I will do. I have been called names, some bad, some just funny. In fact it's been really hilarious to go to work and come home and find 5 or 6 post talking about me, and those same post pretending they know my intentions behind what I say.

Someone said that I had no respect for any teams this year, except Gilmer. That isn't true!I have had respect for every team we have played, win or lose. It's the posters on smoaky that I have no respect for. Some posters are just fun to argue with. Tatum for example. We had loads of fun this year sparring, but I still respect them because they know football, and they give credit where credit is due. I had tons of respect for Carthage, the team and the fans I meet at the game. Some of the posters on here, I have no respect for. SOME of them, like some of the Center posters are arrogant and showed no class to their opponents. You do read that I said SOME. That isn't everyone, but sometimes a few can cause people to judge the rest. I had a whole lot of respect for Chapel Hill. They played their hearts out and came up short, but they did it with class, as did their posters on smoaky. I have always had respect for Bullard. Their fans support their team, win or lose, and they never hang their head. They are some of the best fans I have ever been around. The problem I have is when posters come on here and take pot shots at teams, saying something that if said about your team, you wouldn't like either. Posters that even after they win, want to still begrudge a fan for picking their own team, even though the odds weren't in their favor. When we played Gilmer, we had some fans that believed in their Bears and supported them by picking them to win. Nothing wrong with that, but you would have thought that there was. These fans were blasted for their loyalty, by people that weren't even involved in the game. It wasn't Gilmer fans that were blasting them...it was other schools. Yes, there are always some bad posters from all school that say things when they should have kept quiet, but that is going to happen when you have heated rivalries.

Look, I'm sorry if I have offended you or anyone else from Center, but I have only defended my team and myself. I know you don't see it that way, but sometimes try reading things you or others write from the other teams perspective, and see if you might understand how someone could be offended.

I wish y'all the best in the playoffs as I wish all East Texas teams. I want as many State Championships to come from East Texas as we can get.

To the Center fan who didn't like the broadcast: who cares? You won! Have a chocolate yoo-hoo, go to your next game, and get over it. As for the young man who said that "Center shouldn't be there", I believe he said that in retalliation for Roughriders coming to the middle of the 50 and hand gesturing to our players in disrespect. He's a high school kid, who was hurt, and he was mad about hand gestures. Once again get over it. We have. And when I got excited about the holding call, it was because the ref threw a flag and I knew exactly what the call was for. And yes, we're homers. We live in Tatum. Duh. Like I said, chocolate yoo-hoo, your game, get over it.

Peace

it wasn't Center fans complaining about the broadcast... I think that was somebody from your area that didn't go to the game.

I figure Center fans probably listened to the Center broadcast. I don't know why they would listen to Tatum's.

I don't really care what the kid had to say either. Our kids were excited to be there, and obviously proved him wrong when he said we didn't deserve to be.

Anyway, you may take your own advice there with the yoo-hoo.

(btw, I'm not the kind of person to force feed crow to anybody or rub it in their face, but you were the only person from Tatum who thought it would be a blowout, and your just about the only one who came back and took jabs at Center (for stuff we didn't even say) I'm just saying, it looks like your the one whose not over it, not to mention being unable to admit you were wrong and at least saying we were a good team)

Tatum did the same exact thing. When they sacked Center's qb a couple of times, the tatum defender turned to the Center sideline and did the same hand gesture. So Tatum already got their retalliation during the game.
