I have not seen Cuero play but have seen Gilmer several games. I think Gilmer will continue on with a win over the Gobblers.

Curo is better than Navasota so I think it will be another close game. Of course I believe that Gilmer can beat any 3a team but that doesn't mean they can't be beat. When I hear when and where I'll post it. Gilmer to win in another close one, but I hope it is a Gilmer blow out, that is better on my blood presure.

Considering that Gilmer had all they could handle with Navasota they could be in trouble with Cuero. Cuero is better than Navasota. Cuero is very good all over the field. Rooting for Gilmer but they will need to play up to their standard.

Allright, it is official and Gilmer is visitor and Curo home. Curo's coach wanted to play on Friday night and flip for home and home and Gilmer wanted to play saturday and wanted either Reliant Staduim or the Astrodome. To keep from having to flip and risk driving that far and playing of Friday Gilmer agreed to SHSU and Curo to be home team.

Come on Traylor, I would love the chance to get Cuero at Rose Stadium. Flip with em. If we lost, we could beat them in their house.

Rooting for Gilmer but they will need to play up to their standard. Considering that this is deep play-off time any team can give any team a run for their money, you can't expect a blow out this deep. Navasota was a good team and gave us all we could handle. I'm sure cuero will do the same. But it's football anything can happen. -------------------- "Never forget that the most sacred right on this earth is mans right to have the earth to till with his own hands, but the most sacred sacrifice is the blood that a man sheds for this earth...." - Adolf Hitler ~~Gilmer Buckeyes 2009 3A Division 1 State Champions~~ 15-0 ~I Kick Kitties~ |

Cuero is very balanced and can beat you with either the pass or the run. They also have multiple athletes on either side of the ball so it's tough to try to shut down one specific area. Gilmer will score a lot of points, but I see Cuero winning this one in a shoot out....48-42. Gobblers will gobble Gilmer!!!

I was very unimpressed with Gilmers D, I don't think that Gilmer can stop Cuero even if they play their best D. Cuero's O is even better than Navasota's. Cuero 48-42. -------------------- |
