WH v. JT
Both undefeated in district.
This game will most likely determine the district champ.

It's definately a toss up between Gilmer/Carthage and JT/WH...

My guess is that Gilmer and Carthage will be the better game because of the more equal matchup.

The intrigue with the other is whether WH can actually challenge JT. WH has the skill kids to play with JT, but I expect JT to dominate up front.

I hope both games are close!

Kerens vs. Mart.....

Mark 16: 16..."16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."

Acts 2: 38...."38And Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

Acts 22: 16...."16And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name."

I Peter 3: 21...."21Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,"

The above Scripture is from the English Standard Version

I'll take the Gilmer/Carthage game simply because it will be a great game for the fans and it could determine district placement. The winner will be fighting for a possible district championship while the loser could possibly be fighting just to get a playoff spot.

Lots of good games to choose from. I also like the Jefferson/White Oak game..

Gilmer/Carthage......I think it'll be a shootout.

People wont want to hear it but that JT/WH game aint even gonna be close. JT will run off with it.

Whitehouse/John Tyler hands down. Carthage/Gilmer doesn't even have the potential to be a close game.

Nah, Whitehouse has Trey which is a wildcard in all of this. It basically comes down to is Trey their only threat and what will JT do with him. And can Whitehouse's Defense step up enough to stop John Tyler.

I am calling this one 28-27 in favor of John Tyler. I just think WH is going to have to kick a field goal or 2 and they wont be able to outscore John Tyler. (Side Note: We also said this about Sulphur Springs a couple years back in the playoffs when they won state)

My pick is JT vs WH. A game that has never happened before and everyone has always wondered "what if". Both teams with 1 loss by 3 and 1 points. Gilmer/carthage game only has more votes because there is alot more of their homer posters. It would be a different story if both gilmer and carthage were undefeated going into this game, but both are clearly not what they were.

Whitehouse/JT might be a good game. Hard game to call... #17 will get his.... JT will get theirs...

Carthage/Gilmer has more than enough to be a close game.. Great QBs, Great RBs, Great lines and pretty good Ds....

Carthages last in district game since 2006 and is undefeated in new Bulldog Stadium...

Gilmers last district loss was 2000....

Also, IMO this game has more "IT" factor than WH/JT...
