The following polls are based on membership voting. As we did a year ago, we will continue to combine East and Central Texas. In Class 5-A, anyone associated with District 11-5A, 12-5A and 14-5A will be involved in the poll. As they do every year, I'm sure these Pre-Season polls will bring much debate, but remember--the Pre-Season polls are decided by YOU the membership of Smoaky.com!

Let's have a GREAT 2011 High School Football Season.

Looks right. I do believe Midway deserves to be ranked ahead of JT considering that they had more success last season and they return just as much firepower as JT, maybe better.

Also, Marshall over Whitehouse?

Class 4-A:

1. John Tyler (12-2)
2. Stephenville (8-6)
3. Waco Midway (12-1)
4. Sherman (10-2)
5. Corsicana (7-4)
6. Sulphur Springs (9-3)
7. Marshall (6-5)
8. Jacksonville (7-4)
9. Whitehouse (9-3)
10. Waco High (5-7)

I believe Whitehouse will beat Corsicana and Jacksonville. I also think they will play toe to toe with SS and Marshall and could pull the upset in one or both of those. Maybe I'm just a homer.

But, if I'm right, you better believe I'll remind folks. lol

SS and whitehouse always play great games and they can always go either way. I do not think that Sherman can beat the other 9 on that list. I do believe that SS and Whitehouse are going to surprise alot of people this year. SS sold out their season tickets in record time this year and that does not usually happen unless they are expecting great things.

I agree. SS and Whitehouse will be a great game yet again.

FYI, wildtigers, I have SS ranked #2 behind JT in my Northeast Texas rankings.

I
I have SS very high too. It's going to be a great year. With Henderson being the best team from Chile to Canada and all the rest of the great teams in ETexas it should be a fun year.
