Rizing Stars Sports!!

What is this…….

Rizing Stars Sports has teamed up with VTD to bring you the first ever National Jr. High School Softball and Baseball.
Represent your school while playing the fastest game on dirt.

Teams will consist of players from which high school they will attend.
Must be in the grade you’re playing with (Proof will be required)

Program Details
Games will be played at your high school field when available. When high school fields are unavailable other local fields will be used
All Games will be played during the week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) so not to interfere with Travel Clubs.
Rizing Stars Sports will schedule all Games and Umpires
Teams are responsible for their own uniforms and for payment to umpires for league games
Teams will be divided into two Divisions 5th - 6th and 7th - 8th grade

Registration Fees
Registration will be $40.00 per player per season. The registration includes:
VTD sanction fees and VTD insurance for league play AND any tournament play you participate in during 2012.
Awards for top teams at close of season
Awards for Championship Series
Background Checks for up to 4 coaches (see information below)

Coach/Umpire Background Checks
Due to rising concerns on player safety, VTD is requiring background checks on ALL Coaches, Umpires, and Tournament Directors. This is purely for the safety of the girls. All coaches will receive a coaches badge that will required for them to be on the field and to coach during games.

Registration Process
Rosters and Waiver forms will be needed on each team. Please do the following to register your team:
1. Download the roster form (click here to download) and complete the information. Email the completed
form to [email protected]
2. Print a copy of the roster, sign an complete the bottom.
3. Have each parent complete and sign the waiver form (click here to download).
4. Have each coach complete and sign the Background Check Authorization form (click here to download)
4. Mail the signed copy of the roster, the signed waiver form, background check forms, and payment to:

We will have a Coaches Meeting in March to discuss schedules, rules, etc. We will notify you of the date and location for this meeting.

Spring season will begin in March and conclude in May with a Championship Tournament to be held at the beautiful Lear Park in Longview Texas. ( 12 to 14 games weather permitting )

Fall season will kick off in September and end in October. (Approx. 8 to 10 games)
