Okay, so the NFL schedules are made up by a number of things, division tie ins, division vs division, etc. And one of the deciding factors is where each team finished. For example, if you finish 1st in your division, you have X number of games against other 1st place finishing teams.

So that said, how the heck do the Patriots continue to get one of the easiest schedules every year....THE easiest this year,

I'll say. Here is their last 11 games of the season,

@SF
Washington
@Dallas
Pittsburgh
@Cinci
GB
@Wash
NO
@Atlanta
@Balt
Philly

WOW!!!

Then again, they only need to go 9-7, lol.

New England, Green Bay, Houston, and San Francisco got it easy it appears. It looks like the top 10 except for the Giants were hosed.

The Cowboys go 4-0 to start the 2012 season strong, and all the Romofanatics go ####. They get beat by the Ravens after the bye week, leaving them 4-1, gain some fan support with a victory over Carolina, then the giAnts come to Texas to avenge their opening day loss. They're 5-4 with Cle coming for a visit, and they handle them, we're 6-4, then the Deadskins for Thanksgiving giving us a 7-4 record heading into December. The Cowboy Nation is asking Jerry to give Tony and Jason Garret a raise, and we lose the 5 games in December again, going 7-9 missing the playoffs again.

The apologist Cowboy fans that love Romo will blame it on the secondary, and say we're a young team. We play the Beagles, Bungles, Stealers, Ain'ts, and Dreaded Deadskins that are trying to save Mike Shanahan's job in the month of December, and it looks bleak. Needless to say while the Mayan Calendar will not work for the rest of the world it will for the Cowboys and my NFL world will be over.

I like it. Hopefully we hit that "team unity" stride throughout the season and pop off another run. Hopefully are defense will be better than 23-25 thought. Not sure if Eli can put it all on his back again. :)

Here is some other food for thought. Why hasn't Dallas opened the season at home since 2007? And what's up with all the early byes year after year.

Houston looks like they got away easy, but remember a fourth of their schedule is against Jacksonville and Indy. Still a lot of tough games on their schedule. Glad to see they are getting more night games.
Already looking to hunt down tickets to their games against Green Bay and Baltimore. Will be fun to watch both the Texans and Cowboys play on Thanksgiving this year, just wish they were playing against each other.

Houston should be cruising for a top 1 or 2 seed if they can remain healthy.
