Here were the nominations we received from coaches, media, and membership. If there's a player who wasn't nominated, we always have a thread throughout the weekend asking for your input. Please do not comment on any player who isn't on this overall list.

 

We have to limit each category to twenty in each poll.

But, I think some of you jumped the gun this week like a few others and it appears our membership has reacted accordingly.

Let me expound on what Benny Colbert of Kilgore did (defense). He was 1-on-1 with one of the top receivers in the state (K.D. Cannon of Mt. Pleasant) all night long. Benny had 2 INT's, 1 fumble recovery, 6 tackles, a blocked XP, and held Cannon to 5 catches for 41 yds. He Has already been named the ETSN.FM DQ Defensive Player of the Week. Give the kid some love, he deserves it.
