I have officially resigned as the Sports Director and Talk Host at KTBB Radio.

These past 19 1/2-years have been the most enjoyable of my nearly three-decade long career in radio and television.

I leave with great memories from blue chips to state championships, and knowing I have done everything possible to promote your team, program, fans, and student-athletes.

Sometimes in life it's important for all of us to stop and reorganize our priorities, relive the fundamentals of life, and smell the roses.

Through these changes, Smoaky.com will continue on with the coverage you've always expected.

I will, at the proper time look at my options in the broadcast business or otherwise. There is a huge part of me that wants to attend a football game on a Friday night and not broadcast it, but then again, I love the broadcast business.
